I am hoping to run a Howgills Round. A round is running a series of mountains that fall into a specific category. I have chosen the Howgill fells, the fells that were behind my school. My old maths teacher, Hugh Symonds has inspired this challenge having done the same round in 1987 whilst I was at school. He however was training  for a Guiness World Record, which he achieved, of running all the Munros in the fastest time. I am not in the same league!!

I am hoping to cover all of the 1500ft peaks in the Howgills, all 31 of them in a day. 

I am hoping to do this on May Bank Holiday Weekend... details to follow!
