On Sunday the 29th of November my Uncle Martyn passed away. Him and his wife, Rosie, have been my family's oldest, closest and dearest friend and we are truly going to miss him.

Martyn was a practicing vegan and to honour his memory, I have decided to do a Seven Day Vegan Challenge from the 8th to the 14th of December. No meat, poultry, seafood, dairy products or eggs for seven days.

While the challenge may not sound overly difficult, it is a gesture and a small donation would really be appreciated to the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter. Rosie requested that instead of buying flowers for the funeral, we donate to the Shelter where they adopted their legendary dog Scully. It is the least I can do :(
