I'm sure you are aware PC Nicola Hughes was killed whilst on duty in September 2012.

Her father, Bryn Hughes, is taking part in the North Pole Marathon in April 2014 to raise money for

 The Nicola Hughes Memorial fund which supports Victim Support, Care of Police Survivors and the North West Police Benevolent fund.

To assist with his fundraising we are all taking part in 'Run to Remember' which will involve us running 250 miles in 125 days starting on the 1st December and ending the week they leave for the North Pole in April.

You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal and help a good cause very close to our hearts :-)
