Hi everyone!  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I wanted to let you all know I have been lucky enough to get into the London Marathon 2013 and I am going to run it for a charity and a family that is really important to me. I’m also going to be cycling from Miskin (South Wales) to Taunton, as part of a group for the same charity.

I’ll be running and cycling to raise money for ‘2 Wish Upon a Star’. “2 Wish” has been set up to raise money in memory of two truly special people who passed away suddenly in February 2012. It is the aim of the charity through the memory of Paul and George to raise money to improve and create better bereavement services in the area and eventually further afield. Emphasis will be on the immediate shock and trauma support required after losing a child so suddenly.

To make the challenge a little tougher I will be running the event in barefoot running shoes (pictured above) and would like to run around the 3½ hour mark. (For a short fat bloke that is going to be tough!!!)

So this is a challenge for me to raise as much money and awareness for what can only be described as a truly inspirational family and I'd really appreciate your support.
