Story
The medical teams at Sheffield NGH & the Royal Hallamshire Hospital saved my life and although I have plucked up the courage to venture back and say 'thank you' that is just not enough.
I wouldn’t be here today without them, which is a shocking thing to say and comprehend, but true.
Even going back into the RHH to say that brought tears to my eyes, its such a massive personal thing and I am so grateful.
So I volunteered to help initially by fundraising; hence the attempt to complete the marathon cycling 'Ride London and Surrey' 100 mile event in August 2020. But with that now being cancelled, due to Coronavirus/Covid 19, I still plan to ride at least 100 verified miles, maybe as much as 200k, for NeuroCare regardless, locally around Sheffield, solo if necessary.
It is that important.
So join me in fundraising for the NHS Sheffield Neurocare charity.
If you do the 'Thursday night applause/clap' for the NHS, this is where you can really show your true appreciation of what these amazing people actually do, everyday for our health service.
