We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are Graeme Murdoch & Richard Harland, Brothers in Law who 12 months ago, agreed to come up with a life changing challenge that would raise money for a fantastic cause, physically test us to our limits, and hopefully set an inspirational example to our children by letting them know that through hard work and effort you can achieve anything that you set your mind to.

The Ingenica 1314 Cycle Challenge will see us attempting 13 one hundred mile cycles in 14 days around the UK with 1 rest day half way through, starting in Scotland on 24th July 2017 and finishing in the North East of England on 6th August 2017. Neither of us are cyclists and this challenge would test even the most hardened club cyclists.

We have chosen Cancer Research UK as our charity due to the ever increasing number of family and friends affected by cancer. Since starting this challenge Richards Mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer only highlighting how common this disease is. Only through further funding can we find better treatments and hopefully one day a prevention.
