We raise money and fund autism projects to improve awareness and provide support

Story

Nai is the brain child of Gethin Jones and Sion Tudur - both have nephews (“nai” in Welsh) who are autistic. At home, at school, out-of-school clubs - ensuring every autistic child is able to maximise their potential is the driving force behind "Nai". Having a child with Autism comes with many challenges, the help and support of charities like Nai are truly inspirational and help families. Our son Freddie has complex additional needs with epilepsy and we know how much we appreciate the help and support of charities like NAI.

I'm back for a 2nd year at Ironman Wales. Having completed last years in 13 hours 47 minutes I am once again  taking on an event widely accepted as the 4th toughest Ironman in the World. The event is 2.4 swim, 112 mile bike & 26.2 mile run (A Marathon!), with a multitude of hills to also conquer with over 8000 feet of climbing!

As well as the actual event, for 30 weeks I have been training 6 days per week (10-12 hours per week) and I have also completed a number of practice events including the Cardiff Olympic Triathlon, Long Course Weekend and Mallorca Half Ironman! My Race Bib Number is 1926 and you can follow me on race day using the Ironman athlete tracker - http://eu.ironman.com/triathlon/coverage/athlete-tracker.aspx@IRONMANnow will also be live streaming the race. The event starts at 7am on the 15th September!

Your support & donations really will make a massive difference to the people affected by Autism so thank you,

Roger
