Event: Mission 5000, from 13 September 2020 to 18 October 2020
In memory of Ashley Smith
We're on a mission, and we need you to join us. Together we want to cover 5,000 miles, that's a mile for every person living with MND in the UK today. Take part and run, walk, swim, cycle or even scoot. How far will you go?

Story

I am planning to run 100 miles as part of the mission 5000 between 13/09 and 18/10. I’m running in memory of my Dad who lost his fight to MND in 2002 less than 3 years after diagnosis. I’m not a regular runner so this will be hugely out of my comfort zone, but the plan is to run on average 5k per day for the 5 weeks wearing my MND T-shirt.

I’d normally raise money for MND by baking and selling cakes but I’ve been unable to do that this year. If you’d like to sponsor me that would be amazing, but if you’d rather receive some cake in return for a donation let me know!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
