Hi,

I'm Ismael, a 23 year old Medical Imaging student from London.

 I'm fundraising for children across the world that the amazing charity ‘Save the Children’ helps.

My Story

I am from Somalia in East Africa, once beautiful place to grow up as a child, but now it is plagued by war, disease, draught and famine.

The children are always the most affected and it is sad to see a child die of poverty and malnutrition.

For me it’s personal as every time i see a child malnourished, and living in extreme poverty, i can’t help but think that could have been me.

Therefore I have decided to challenge myself, train hard to compete in the prestigious British 10k race in July.

My training has been tough and challenging, but I have enjoyed every bit of it.
