In November 2017, my Mother was diagnosed with Cancer after a tumour was found. On the 7th of February, she was admitted indefinitely where we were told that no further treatment could be given. On the morning of Tuesday the 13th of February at only 52 years of age, her battle with cancer was lost and she passed away peacefully in the presence of her family.
On Sunday July the 8th, Myself Iwan Williams and my work friends and family - Mike Doutch, Tom Hurford, Matt Cave, Stephen Thomas, Richard Davies, Stephen Williams, Stephen Robinson, Geraint Owen and Tony Antoniazzi will be cycling 220 miles from Horizon Nuclear Power's site office at Wylfa Newydd, Anglesey, to our Headquarters in Brockworth Gloucestershire to raise funds of the Alaw Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd as a mean of thanks for the care the nurses provided to my Mother and Family during her final days of suffering with Cancer.
A special thank you goes to all of you who kindly decide to donate, and also to the team who have decided to do this challenge with me! Very much appreciated.
Thank your for supporting the specific hospital wards, departments or community healthcare services that are closest to your heart through the North Wales NHS Charity, Awyr Las (Blue Sky).Your support helps fund some of the added extras - big and small - that go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide, making a real difference for local patients and their families when they need it the most..
