Story
Our son James was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular-Dystrophy at age 14. He has always made light of his problems preferring to focus on what he can do rather than cannot. This attitude helped him cope with the progression of his condition to using a mobility scooter, obtaining a good degree at Reading University, teacher training and various posts - currently he is teaching Humanities at Tenbury Wells Academy, Worcestershire.
Despite physical limitations he manages (somehow) to fly-fish from a boat, tutor shotgun novices and is also a keen photographer and film buff.
