In October 2016 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and as a result I ran a campaign to win a spot on an expedition aiming to travel 300 km across the arctic to raise money for Worldwide Cancer Research. 

Thanks to everyone's hard work I managed to get 10,325 votes and secure the 1st place position for the UK and therefore a spot on the team...
