We fund support, screening & research to help those affected by YSCD

Story

This event has now been rescheduled.

On Sunday 13th March I will be taking part in an abseil challenge from the Middlesbrough's Transporter Bridge in order to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

CRY was established in 1995 and have been working hard since then in order to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death. They support young people who have been diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and also offer bereavement support to families who have been affected by YSCD. They also promote and develop heart screening programmes and fund medical research.

All money raised will go in aid of the James William Campbell Memorial Fund within CRY.

Thank you for any donations, it's going towards a great cause and is in memory of one fantastic person.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
