Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I am raising money for the Cavell Nurses Trust who aid Nurses, Midwives and Health Care Assistants who have fallen on some of the most difficult times of their lives.

I am one of 100 Cavell Ambassadors, aiming to climb Mount Edith Cavell (3363 Metres) in the Canadian Rockies in August 2015 and as a group we are aiming to raise £1 million for the trust.

Edith Cavell was a British nurse who had helped to save thousands of lives from both sides of the war. Unfortunately she was arrested and shot about a hundred years ago in 1915. Her legacy lives on through the Cavell Nurses' Trust

My name is Jadon and I am a 2nd year undergraduate student, studying to be a children's nurse. My training involves helping look after the health and well being of patients who may be physically, mentally, socially and emotionally affected. I find this a rewarding experience while learning to be a great nurse. I work with families from all walks of life, I see some of the most amazing things. I really love my position as a budding addition to this amazing profession.

Please help me raise £3000 to climb Mount Edith Cavell in August 2015, which will then further her legacy, assisting the nurses who support people through some of the most difficult times of their lives.
