Story

Most of you know Emma's story (those that don't see www.justgiving.com/therosebudappeal) and this race is all about her memory. We miss her so much everyday.  I am doing the London Triathlon (Olympic Distance) with an amazing team of seven (both friends, work colleagues and one CICU nurse from GOSH) setting out on Sunday 9th August.  A huge number of our friends and family gave so generously last year so we don't expect everyone to necessarily give again but there is certainly more that can be done and we want to continue to fund the fantastic work done at Great Ormond Street in Emma's name.  As before, all funds raised will be for the Rosebud Appeal and therefore specifically targeted at funding priority equipment and research within the departments - Rheumatology and Cardiology - the departments that offered primary care for Emma during her 103 days at GOSH. Your donations are really important and we have seen the amazing work at GOSH first hand.  Thank you for continuing to support us emotionally and GOSH financially - this means a great deal to all of the Hatchleys.  Thank you.  James
