Story
Matthew Turner unfortunatley lost his battle with cancer on the 9th of Feburary 2014, he was kind hearted, genuine and a true inspiration to us all. We shared moments of laughter and fun and he will be sorley missed but never forgotten.
In memory of Matt, myself Chris Stone and Tavis Yung are preparing to embark on a journey to raise awareness and money for the University of Plymouth's 'Raise and Give' chosen charities: Teenage Cancer Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and RNLI.
From 9am on the 21/02/14 the three of us will have 36 hours to travel as far away from Plymouth University without spending any money. Means of travel can be anything from hitchhiking to flying, during the 36 hours we will be raising money through donations from the general public to go towards our charities and means of travel. We aim to spend as little as possible of the donations given during the 36 hours on travelling, hopefully just relying on the generousity of the general public to provide lifts, train tickets or even flights.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please donate what you can and hopefully together we can raise some money to support the amazing work these charities do and minimise pain and loss for future generations to come.
