Story

Our dear son Pete tragically lost his battle against leukaemia on 3rd June 2012. 'Loss leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal'.
Pete was diagnosed with leukaemia in June 2010. The week after he sat his last A-Level. He was due to go on holiday with his friends to celebrate the end of school but two days before he was due to fly he was admitted to the UCLH cancer ward facing 3-years of chemotherapy. He had to cancel his place at Southampton University to study Economics and face intensive treatment which he accepted with courage and tolerance.
On 22nd December 2011 Pete was told that he had relapsed and would need further treatment and a bone marrow transplant. His bravery was exceptional but sadly he did not respond to the treatment and lost his battle on 3rd June 2012. May he now rest peacefully knowing how much he was loved by so many.
