I am walking from Whitelee Windfarm, Eaglesham to East Kilbride, via Ardochrig (approx 16 miles) on Saturday 18 September to help raise funds for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland.

In October 2007 my Dad was diagnosed with Heart Failure and in September 2009 my partners Mum suffered a stroke which has left her with limited mobility.

CHSS's aim is to improve the quality of life for people affected by chest heart and stroke illness in Scotland. by funding medical research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and social impact of chest heart and stroke disease, and  by supporting patients and carers, through their Volunteer Stroke Service, chest, heart and stroke clubs, Advice Line, publications, welfare grants, and other community support services.
