I support the Martlets- the hospice is the only hospice in East Sussex and plays a vital role in helping people to live life as fully as they can, right up until the end. Through expert clinical care provided by highly skilled and experienced Doctors and Nurses, they ensure that wherever possible peace, respect and dignity is retained – it is a very simple and very human ethos. They also support families before and after the death of the loved person. While they offer a free service, they are not part of the NHS. So they have to raise over £9,000 each and every day of the year to care the patients, and their families.
