Heart UK work to prevent premature deaths from high cholesterol - which is a major risk factor for heart attacks and strokes.

Sadly Ian, who had high cholesterol and a family history of heart problems, died very suddenly from heart disease. With closer monitoring and support this may not have happened.

Heart UK's aim is for the majority of UK adults to know what their cholesterol levels are and where necessary take action to prevent premature death. This essential work can saves lives.

The work of Heart UK is not government funded and therefore relies on kind donations.
