Partnered with my employer GSK, I am taking on a couple of epic challenges in support of this charity.

This September, I will be cycling 1000km from Quebec City (our Ste Foy office) to Mississauga (our Canadian Head office).  And I will be doing this on my Fat Bike!  You may already know that I am an avid cyclist but this will be a new epic challenge. 

For my next adventure, I have been selected as one of 40 employees from 25 countries, across GSK's businesses to trek the mountains of Ethiopia.  Next March, we will trek for seven days through the Simien Mountains to the peak of Ras Dashen (4550m) and then visit a local community to understand more about Save the Children's work in Ethiopia.  Together we will be raising over $338,000 Cdn, which will be matched by GSK. 

Save the Children carry out life-saving and sustainable projects to improve the lives of children around the globe.  They are the world’s leading independent organization for children who strive to give children an environment in which their human rights and needs are respected and protected, so they can realize their fullest potential. Their programs focus on child rights and protection, health and nutrition, clean water, education, sustainable livelihoods, emergency relief and survival.
