I’m hoping to complete the Great North Run, in its 40th year! (Postponed to 2021!)

I am raising money for the Critical Care Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead. 

Our experience of the department and the angels working there over the Christmas period was nothing short of outstanding. The care was second to none and my family were fully supported through an incredibly difficult time, thankfully with a happy ending.

I hope to raise some money for the department to say thank you on behalf of my family, and to help others who may also find they need to use this service in the future. 

I’m a rubbish runner, this will be a challenge for me so please dig deep, (last time was 12 years ago, I was much fitter,  but still lost a toe nail!). See you in South Shields! 

Oh no! Hang on they’ve changed the route and it’s rubbish… not going to let that stop me though, only my gammy ankles will do that!
