My lovely Dad passed away in April after battling with Progressive MS for almost 20 years. Watching someone you love suffer so badly and knowing there is nothing you can do to ease their pain is honestly one of the most heartbreaking things imaginable. 

My Dad lost his independence and his everyday life was such a struggle, but no matter how bad things got, he was so determined not to let this horrible disease get the better of him. He taught me so much about never, ever giving up.

The mission of the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation is to inspire, mobilise and bring the world together to improve the quality of life of everybody affected by MS and to end MS forever. I can think of no better way to honour my Dad.
