This is my story (Jenny Wilson-Best).
I have MS and heard about REVIVE MS Support soon after being diagnosed. The doctors tell you that you have MS, there’s no cure and the drugs won’t help much. You’re left wondering how this is going to change your life. The life of your partner. Your work. Your hobbies. Your outlook. From being totally able bodied to somebody that finds it difficult to get to the local shop and having to learn to deal with spasms, pain and chronic fatigue.
And so I came to REVIVE. I was immediately offered help and support both physically and emotionally with therapy, counselling and kindness and always with a warm smile. I have listened but I have also been heard. They helped me with every aspect of this new life that my husband and I have had to come to terms with. They help so many people during the many stages of MS and always with positive care and understanding. I would like to thank my friends and colleagues in Opera Alba and Derek Clark for freely giving of their talents which has enabled us to raise money with this concert.
