Story

Hi! We'll be running the Bath Half Marathon on 3rd March, in memory of Isabelle Mayaud, who sadly passed away on New Year's Eve of 2011. Isabelle spent her last few days in the wonderfully peaceful St Francis Hospice in Berkhamsted. It relies entirely on donations to continue to provide its amazing service, so what better cause to be running for?

Bath is 122 miles away from St Albans. More importantly, the race will be a gruelling 13.1094 miles long (that's over a tenth of the distance!), and we most definitely won't be relying on the train for it. So please, give generously!

About the charity

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well.Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.
