We are raising awareness to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome

Story

I want to raise £500 to fund a virtual doll which will enable us at Charlee's Angels to educate people of the dangers and consequences of SBS more efficiently

Charlee was five months old. He was a victim of abusive head trauma otherwise known as Shaken Baby Syndrome.
I set up Charlee's Angels SBS (ITBI) Founjdation in memory of Charlee.
Shaken Baby Syndrome is hushed, people refer to it as a taboo subject but it's more common than we think. We never think it would happen but only when it happens close to you then you realise. Not enough people know what it is. Especially expectant and new parents and caregivers. It's something that we need to be educated on.
Child abuse in any form is devastating and in most cases fatal. One in Four SBS victims do not survive the injuries. That is 25%.
We are not saying that we can perform miracles and stop those victims dying but what we aim to do is educate and raise awareness to prevent the shaking. All people need to hear is Never Shake A Baby.
The NSPCC have a campaign for Shaken Baby Syndrome. Charlee's Angels Foundation are all about SBS and AHT.
Months passed by after Charlee's death, our hearts full of misery, nothing could bring him back, nothing could explain why? I started to research Shaken Baby Syndrome in the UK, I found the NSPCC campaign but nothing else, no support for the families or nothing!
That's when I started to plan what was soon to be something more, making bracelets to sell, followed on by Charlee's family making bracelets and then came leaflets and flyers...
It's a long road getting to the £5000 we need to have raised to register as an official charity.
We are recognised by the HMRC Charities as a Small Charitable Organisation. We are on our way but need your help.
