I have decided to give up alcohol for the whole month of January (started on the 1st) and wish to take the opportunity to raise money for this worthwhile charity. My Dad, Christopher (Kit) Doran, died from an asbestos related disease, as did many of his family, friends and work colleagues. 

Asbestos related diseases are still causing pain and suffering to those affected directly and to their families and friends.

I have already been pledged £240 and it's only the 5th of the month.
