Story

You all know I don't run... (not unless there is something chasing me or I want to be rebellious whilst carrying a pair of scissors). So obviously for my first ever sporty fundraising event I am not just running but swimming and cycling too!

On June 13th I am taking part in the 2015 Blenheim Palace Triathlon with 47 of my friends.  This event will be the real kick off for Thinking of Oscar and we are hoping to collectively raise £100,000.

It is all for Oscar Cole.  Oscar died unexpectedly and suddenly at the age of 16 months.  The charity Thinking of Oscar has been created as his legacy; its objectives are:

The relief of sickness and promotion of the health of children, young people and their families whilst in hospital care across England, in particular but not exclusively by:

 - Providing support and activities to patients (children) their families and medical teams who strive to make their time in hospital as comfortable as possible.

  - Providing funding for the development of research and development into and the provision of improved diagnostic techniques and technology.

  - Providing increased access to relevant knowledge and data via the sharing of best practice and the application of technology.

Find out more at
www.thinkingofoscar.com.  The training for the event has already given me so much; a healthier lifestyle, new friendships, camaraderie in training...  Anything you can give will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
