it's my 55th birthday soon - & I'll be trekking 55k up volcanoes & wading through icy rivers in Iceland for Klara.'

Rett Syndrome challenges Klara every day: she battles epilepsy, has difficulties in mobility, breathing & eating & difficulties in nearly every aspect of her daily life.

And yet she's the true warrior & incredibly courageous- her huge smile says it all.

I want to be a warrior for Klara. I'm doing this challenge for her with #reverserett.

Clinical trials have begun this year with gene editing & new medications- an inspiring and pioneering feat of science & medicine that could make the quality of Klara's life & all others suffering with Rett Syndrome so much better.

Every volcano I climb & river I cross in Iceland will be to help Klara.
