Joe died on the evening of 27th November 2013 of Mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer.

His funeral will be held at Lincoln crematorium on Tuesday 10th December at 3pm. At the service a collection will be made to benefit The Mucular Dystrophy Campaign's Action on FSH in his memory. This page has been set up for those unable to attend or who wish to make a donation online.

Research into Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy was important to Joe and the money raised will go directly to fund various projects at this key time in the hunt for a treatment.
