We transform lives through hairdressing to offer a brighter future around the world

Story

As some of you know hairdressing is a huge passion of mine, it has opened many doors though my career already. I feel very privileged to have the job I do, I work for Henkel (Schwarzkopf Professional). Seeing where hairdressing has taken me, and guided me through life so far, this project is very close to my heart, and it’s time for me to give back.

In May 2020  I will be travelling to an SOS village in The Philippines, to teach hairdressing to underprivileged young adults. I’m very lucky and super excited to be going back for a second time to this particular village to share my passion and teach my craft like I have done before in 2019.

Hairdressing isn’t just a skill, it’s an art. It’s an art that once is mastered leads to many opportunities and for me I am very grateful to have had. I want to share my art so others can have the same opportunities I have had and build a life for themselves.

Shaping futures offers brighter futures for youngsters by teaching them the art of hairdressing. The initiative started in 2008, and evolved globally in 2010 when Schwarzkopf Professional partnered with SOS children’s villages, a leading non-profit organisation to launch shaping futures.

Please help me raise £2000 to enable me to share my skills with these young adults.

No donation is too small, and I thank you in advance for your generosity. It means so much.

Love John Xx
