We provide vital support to reduce the pain & isolation of arthritis
Story
Polyarticular arthritis affects less than 1 in 200,000 children and was a condition I had never heard of until my son's diagnosis in May 2013. He subsequently spent over a month in Hospital receiving treatment for his condition.Today he continues to battle the condition and has regular trips to the Hospital along with daily steroids, other medications daily and receives weekly injections of Methotrexate. I have decided to do a parachute jump for Arthritis Care on the 3rd August 2014 to raise much need funds. Arthritits Care hold events for the children affected by the condition but rely heavily on voluntary donations to fund them Please give generously to ensure that these Childrens' Events can continue.
Arthritis Care strives for a world where people with arthritis can lead full and active lives by proactively managing their pain and reducing isolation. Our services include high quality information, a free confidential helpline, peer support forums, and face to face services.
