Story

My last Festival Charity ride was in August 2019 from JOHN O Groats to Lands end on a Step thro Honda C90 Cub (1996). This took 7 days and so I thought our Festival concludes in 2023 so I,ll try 2023 miles, same time scale but will have to be a bit bigger bike. So I have an old T100 Triumph Bonneville and will go through central England around the Scottish Classic North West 500 and back through the Lakes and Wales and finish on Plymouth Hoe. I,m having to go in my own now as my friend Rod has had to pull out so its just one bike and one bloke.  I,ll have to average about 250+ miles a day so at 72 now fell its a fair challenge. Preparations are going well and I'm off on the 30th April and hope to arrive on the Hoe the following Saturday lunch time. (fingers x-ed)lol.    Ive just about sorted the route and fuel stops (more to the point) so am hoping for fine weather to enjoy the views etc and again hope the Scottish weather relents enough to enjoy it.
