Story
John Michael White, aged 70, passed away on 20th May 2019, he left our lives very peacefully and albeit very suddenly at home.
We had spent a wonderful weekend celebrating with close family and friends - making memories with lots of love, laughter and fun times. Within 48 hrs we had lost this beautiful, caring man with a big heart from our lives forever. Never has there been a greater lesson in the fragility of life and why we should live every day as if it's our last with kindness, love and compassion even in the most challenging of times.
My Dad lived every day to the fullest, always caring and sharing with anyone who needed his help in the family or in the community. It is a devastating loss for us all but it is also important we celebrate his life in the best way we can, paying respect to the ups and downs of life and the impact he made as his legacy continues.
We would love you to join us in celebrating his life on 3rd June 2019, 11.30 @ Lytham Crematorium and a gather at the Bowling Club, Somerset Avenue.
My Dad spent many years escaping the craziness of life, switching off in nature, hiking, cycling and exploring the Lake District, making many memories with family and friends. In his memory, we wish to raise funds for the Lake District Foundation and we will be sponsoring a plaque, in his name, with the contributions.
In all honesty, I can't imagine a better tribute to my Dad - and oh my goodness wouldn't he be chuffed to bits.
Love and light forever
Zoe
