🧡 Suicide Awareness WOD 🧡

Just over a year ago 1 of our Gladiators lost his sister to Suicide. Jonny decided to put all his energy into helping others who may be suffering, feeling like they are alone, and that self harm is the only solution.

As a club we’re delighted to be able to help Jonny as we partner up with PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland to present our Suicide Awareness WOD 🙏🏻

Suicides in N. Ireland increased by 33.5% form 197 in 2019 to 263 in 2020.

Our Suicide Awareness WOD is for Time:
2.63km Row 🚣‍♂️
2.63km Bike 🚴
2.63km Ski ⛷

The WOD will be completed as a Team of 2 and there will be prizes for the top Male, Female and Mixed Teams.

The WOD is open to Gladiators and non Gladiators so we encourage as many of you to come along as possible. There is a cost of £10 (per athlete) for the event, and all proceeds go to the PIPS charity. You can book your slot via the gladiator training app, under “Enrollments” now.

If you know someone suffering inside or outside of the gym bring them along and introduce them to our community on the 11th. It’s scientifically proven that the endorphins released through exercise are the best anti-depressant.
