I am running the Cambridge Half Marathon on March 10th 2013 to raise funds for Brain Tumour UK. I chose this charity as a friend of mine, Lisa, recently lost her little girl Sophie to this awful disease. Sophie was a truly  inspirational little girl but her Mum Lisa is also an inspiration to other parents with sick children. Lisa has continued to support her family and still raise awareness and money throughout her own personal challenges.

I am hoping to raise as much as I can to help support this incredable charity who fund scientific and clinical research into Brain tumours and offer information and support to those affected, whilst raising awareness and influencing policy. Their aim is to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours.
