As most of you know i have always been a help for heroes champion and theres good reason for this you see as my husband is just one of the many beneficiaries H4H supports.

Jay was medically discharged from the army due to a shoulder injury in 2005, then in 2012 he was offically diagnosed with PTSD. Help for heroes have been a great support not only for him but many other wounded, injured or sick service personnel and veterans like him known affectionately as the Help For Heroes Band of Brothers (BoB) H4H help them to make sense of life post injury with some inspirational results. I can honestly say that this charity really does help change people's lives.   

The Help for Heroes Band of Sisters (BoS) provides support, recognition and fellowship to those who care for our heroes, and for me this has shown me I'm not alone being a carer for my husband. As a BoS I have been lucky enough to have been given the chance of a lifetime to proudly trek alongside other beneficiaries and tell our story whilst in the amazing terrain of Burma.

This oppertunity has given me the chance to be able to pay back in both gratitude and hopefully sponsorship with the generosity of you all. I am massively proud of my husband and how he manages to deal with his injuries. For me this challenge will be both mentally and physically demanding but that pales in comparison to what some of the H4H BoB have to deal with on a daily basis.

My husband is my hero and hopefully this will show him just how much I pride i have in his courage and strength to stay strong and never give up.
