The voices of young people are under-represented on the issues that affect them. This isn't fair.
UK Youth Parliament provides opportunities for young people aged between 11 -18 to use their energy and passion to change the world for the better.
Once elected Members of Youth Parliament meet with MPs and local councillors, organise events, run campaigns, make speeches, hold debates, and ensure the views of young people are listened to by decision makers.
Currently delivered by the British Youth Council, Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) are given the training and support to use their elected voice to bring about positive social change.
Friends of UKYP are a collective of former Members of Youth Parliament and supporters of the initiative, who are passionate about providing the funding needed to ensure that young people from all backgrounds are supported to become MYPs and to have their voices heard.
Donate today and fight for youth voice.
