Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on the 19th November 2014. It was a complete shock as there is no genetic history of breast cancer in my family. Things have moved quickly since my diagnosis and I started chemotherapy on 3rd December 2014. I was warned my hair would probably fall out and it has taken exactly 16 days for this to start happening. I'm probably going to shave my head in the next few days - aaaargh!! Bring on the scarves and beanie hats!

So....James has decided to do something absolutely amazing to support me. He's volunteered to shave off ALL of his body hair (apart from his eyebrows, which I think is totally reasonable!) on the 5th January 2015 to help raise money for Breast Cancer Care. For anyone who knows him well, you will know that the loss of his ridiculously enormous beard right now is a huge sacrifice for Jim!

We would both be so grateful if you could donate as much as you can afford, whether it be £1 or £10 or more, to help Breast Cancer Care continue supporting all those who have breast cancer, their carers and anyone else affected by breast cancer. I know they've been invaluable to me even in these early days and they have provided me with so much information about what I'm facing.

Thank you to everyone for reading this and hopefully for donating your hard earned cash!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..... lets hope 2015 is full of fun, laughter and lots of people checking their breasts!! ;) xxxxx
