Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

UPDATE: WE DID IT! My feet are not a pretty site (they actually shocked the red cross lady in the Blister Bay at the end. Her exact words were 'I don't know where to start!') but we made it.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me and to those of you still asking for the link - here it is! Thank you so much on behalf of Emilia's little heart and all of Elaine's Angels xxxx

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

As many of you know, my dear friend Elaine - the kindest, most smiley and most wonderful woman died this year very suddenly and shockingly. Last year Elaine did this walk and she planned to do it this year again to raise money for Emilia's Little Heart Foundation a charity close to her heart that helps supports families with children in hospital.

So now there are over 12 of us doing it and we hope to do her proud!

You know I am not a keen sportswoman or exerciser! So this will be a big challenge for me! I am already in training. I even have purchased my first pair of trainers (not converse all stars!!!) for 8 years!

So please, if you can, I would really appreciate your support! To keep me going when the blisters set in! Someone told me 'you realise that is like doing a half marathon'!!!! Well that has scared me!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. xxxx

About the charity

ELHF provides for all of our hospital children! Children have to spend time in hospital everyday, we can make that time happy by providing activities for them. Bringing smiles! Without our supporters we are not able to make a difference to these sick, disabled or convalescent children.
