I have decided to set myself a challenge for the month of May to run 200km for MIND, this equates to 6.5km a day. Reason I have chosen mind is because I suffer with mental health issues and have been diagnosed with Depression, and understand the importance of charities such as mind provide in helping people deal with their mental health issues. Also at moment during the Cvoid-19 pandemic mental health issues are on the rise and we should not effect it has on the MIND. 

The reason I have chosen to run 200km is because at the start of year I started running again by joining Penllergare Valley woods running group and taking part in their C25k program and couldn't even run 2 minutes without stopping. Running provided me an escape and a way to get control of my own mental health issues, and since starting running I can say for the fist time in a long while I have felt in control. To run 200km is going to be a huge challenge because at moment the most I have run in a month was 100km during April, before that it was just 50km a month.
