We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

I started running last year at the age of 48 - it took a while but now I have the 'running bug'. As a result of running I am healthier, fitter and happy with myself - but it wasn't always like this.

Eight years ago I really wasn't well - everything looked fine  but my emotional state and behaviour was rapidly deteriorating and sadly my family were significantly affected. I sought help but even my own GP said that my behaviour was attention seeking. It wasn't until I had an epileptic fit was it discovered that I had a massive brain tumour and it had been there for a long time!

Now thankfully I am fully recovered but it took time and  would have been easier if I had known about the work and support that The Brain Tumour Charity provide.

With this in mind I want raise awareness of the Brain Tumour Charity so that those who are suffering and recovering can benefit.
