On August Bank Holiday this year, I'm planning to walk along the Thames from Tower Bridge to Maidenhead - around 75 miles (not far, really!!) - and I would love to have your support.  I am doing it to raise funds for the Thames Valley Adventure Playground, based in Taplow.

Last year, 13,614 visits were made to the Playground by children and adults with all types of special need, who travelled from all over the Thames Valley and beyond to enjoy all the fun and freedom of adventure play which most young people take for granted, but which can be very difficult to access if you have a disability.

It costs around £320,000 a year to keep the Playground going, and with only 5% of what it needs coming from local authority grants, they really do need all the help they can get, so do, please, give as much as you are able.
