Why a half marathon?  goal-setting is apparently a good motivational tool for fitness improvement and I have to say, it seems to be working.  Why MacMillian? the kickstart to setting the goal came from learning earlier this year that a friend in their mid-30s had contracted leukemia.  That was soon followed by the death of the wife of another friend.  MacMillian supports not just those with cancer, but those affected by it which is sometimes the factor that doesn't grab the headlines. 

So running 13.1 miles has a personal angle for me & I genuinely appreciate whatever donation you're able to make. Thank you Kirsten
