We are the LBI- ladies beverage institute which started at the Kings Head pub in Holmbury St Mary when members were young and fun and then gradually evolved from the pub to the ladies 'baby' institute where tea and cake was more the choice than beer! :)
We've all been affected by cancer at some stage in our lives, through friends, relatives etc and most recently a close friend of a member, Claire Lawrence tragically died in May less than 12 months from being diagnosed with a brain tumour. She was a gorgeous, awesome, fun loving lady and a beautiful bride to the love of her life Kev just last summer. A secondary school teacher and roller derby pro, she lived life to the full. 
We'd love you to make any donation to remember her and all those that are affected by cancer, as Clare said we need to 'kick it's ass!'
