Laura's novel in a month (NaNoWriMo)

Novel in a month (NaNoWriMo) · 30 November 2016
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was five months pregnant. Since then, I've had a lumpectomy, given birth to Elodie, had six rounds of chemotherapy, discovered I carry the breast cancer gene mutation BRCA2 and had my ovaries removed. In the next couple of months, I'll have a preventative double mastectomy. You can read more about my story here: https://breastcancerandbaby.wordpress.com/
I can't run, but I can write. A friend challenged me to take part in NaNoWriMo this year, which means writing the first draft of a novel (50,000 words) in the month of November. It's my version of a marathon. And it's no picnic, with two young children to look after and an operation falling within the month in question.
Mummy's Star have supported me during this turbulent and difficult year, and I'd love to raise some money so that they can do the same for other women who are diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy. So if you can spare some money and want to help give me the motivation to finish this thing, I'd really appreciate it, and I know Mummy's Star would too.
