Five years ago my wonderful nan passed away because of dementia. It was so horrible to see someone  you love so very very much slip away and just exist, not knowing who they are or who you are. 

I have therefore decided in memory of my nan and to raise money to support research into this terrible disease to run the Silverstone half marathon this year.
