I am fundraising for the Butterfly service at the Lister. Butterfly volunteers provide companionship for end-of- life patients, without the Butterfly project 15-20 patients were dying alone at the Lister each month, as well as patients being alone when waiting for relatives to arrive. In order to keep the project running the charity must raise £25,000 each year, to provide appropriate management and support for their 30 volunteers.
