Fundraising for Isabel Hospice
Story
Most of you will be wondering why on earth I am willing to throw myself out of a plane, when a) I hate flying and b) I am the biggest wimp out there!
Part of my reason was my 'Bucket List' (for those that don't know , things to do before you die!) inspired by Ms Lade! And two of my bucket list items were to raise £1,000 for charity and to do a sky dive.
And as some of you may be aware, my grandad was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and lost his 18month battle at the weekend, and Isabel Hospice have been a great help to both him and my family.
So when Isabel Hospice announced their Sky Dive fundraiser....I couldn't think of a reason not to do it....OK I could think of plenty, but it's for a good cause!!
Did you know Isabel Hospice services are provided to patients free of charge. The cost of providing their services is £4.5 million. Of this they need to raise £3 million from charitable sources!
