Fundraising for Blue Cross
Story

Firstly, I would like to tell you a little bit about Marcus...
Commitment: I’d like to start by saying that anything Marcus put his mind too, he would give 110% throughout. He was so committed to the gym from such a young age. In his own words 'Im not me until i have been to the gym'.
In terms of work life, Marcus worked with cars, alongside one of his closest friends. He worked long hours and travelling around the country to collect cars was not an issue...as long as he could stop at a gym on the way. He put many hours into car sales which meant he had learnt a skilful trade - just another reason why his commitment to everyday life was out of this world.
Loyalty: Every person I have spoken to has said ‘one phone call, day or night and Marcus would be there’. I can personally vouch for this on many occasions.
Ambition: Marcus aspired to achieve amazing things in life and when Marcus had a goal, he would not stop until he achieved it. Our goal was to own our own house together, somewhere small to begin with, but something we had earn't and built together.
Marcus will be known for his Mercedes C63 (742BHP Supercharge). He worked hard to keep this car going, it was his pride and joy. The adrenalin he felt when he was in this car was out of this world. I knew this just by looking at his face whilst he was driving.
On Wednesday 2nd May 2018, I lost the love of my life Marcus Rhodes aged 22, in a car accident so close to home. Since this heartbreaking and devastating news I have been remembering the memories Marcus and I have shared together since we have known each other.
Less than 3 weeks before Marcus passing away, Marcus and I discussed doing a Tandem Bungee Jump together. In memory of Marcus, myself and my best friend Jamie-Lee will continue to do the Bungee Jump from 160ft at London O2 on Saturday 21st July 2018 at 12:15pm.
I have chosen to donate all money raised to The Blue Cross charity, for those who knew Marcus know that his love for animals was huge! The Blue Cross charity help unwanted or abandoned animals to find a new, happy home. The Rhodes family also have a beautiful rescue cat called Bobby!
I would really appreciate your help and support to raise money for such a wonderful charity. Marcus was a big softy at heart and I know he would really appreciate your help.
